Scope of Responsibilities: Works under limited supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to ensure adequate inventory levels
Job Summary: Responsible for the inventory management, appropriate stock levels and maintaining accurate cost files.
Job Duties:
- Replenish inventory from in-store stock and in coming orders
- Assist in the ordering of replacement product from the appropriate supplier
- Assist in the management of inventory levels insuring adequate quantities are available to meet customers needs, without maintaining excessive levels
- Assist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper source
- Update IT drug database as needed
- Work with facility management and HD support staff to ensure that accurate cost files are maintained
- Perform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean department
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
- Preferred: AS Degree or Higher
Experience:
- Preferred: 2 or more years previous experience in related position
Required (Vermont Employees):
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Required (Ohio Employees Only):
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician
Attendance Requirements:
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Compensation:
$16.00 - $20.06 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
